As Wanderers, it’s easy to feel isolated, alienated, and deeply alone on a planet that vibrates so far from the frequency of our soul. How do we find a place in a world that feels like it wasn’t built for us? How do we continue choosing to stay when every part of us longs to go back home?
I’ve wrestled with these questions for much of my life. In high school, I began taking medication for severe anxiety and recurring depression. At the age of 30, I tried to end my own life. Mental health struggles are no stranger to me, and I know many Wanderers walk this same path.
Our differences—our vibrations—don’t easily align with this world, and that dissonance often creates mental, emotional, and even physical turmoil. It’s part of the catalyst for our growth, pushing us to navigate a reality that feels so fundamentally out of sync with what we remember at the soul level. We come from a place of unconditional love and acceptance, even if that memory is veiled. To then live in a world steeped in pain and rejection feels like being dropped into chaos without a map.
It’s no wonder we struggle. Our bodies, minds, and spirits resist this world as long as we resist our truth.
But the truth is this: we chose to come here. Not because it would be easy, but because it would teach us. Earth’s lessons are forged in fire, and our souls, in their infinite wisdom, knew they could withstand the flames to uncover the gifts within. That’s why we’re here—to surrender, to embrace the lessons, and to evolve.
I’ve been to the depths of despair. I’ve lost everything—my career, my home, my car, my financial stability—everything I thought I needed to survive. And in losing it all, I finally saw the truth. The more we fight this world and its illusions, the more we suffer. The more we cling to fitting into molds that were never meant for us, the more lost we become.
Society teaches us to blend in, to conform to a 9-to-5 grind, and to measure our worth by material gain. But as Wanderers, we carry the deep knowing of free will, of infinite possibilities, of bringing our unique essence to help this planet evolve. Our purpose is not to blend in but to shine as beacons of love, hope, and transformation.
Our purpose is to shine when the world is dark—because that is the gift we bring to this planet.
The key lies in surrendering to our truth. Letting go of what no longer serves us—be it toxic jobs, unfulfilling relationships, or the weight of societal expectations—frees us to rediscover who we really are. Beneath the layers of conformity and struggle lies our true self, waiting to be remembered.
And that true self understands something profound: thriving on Earth won’t look like thriving in the place we call home. The love, unity, and ease we remember aren’t meant to mirror what we experience here. Instead, our task is to find those truths within the lessons of this planet—to bring love into spaces that need it most, starting with ourselves.
When we stop resisting, let go, and allow, we align with the deeper wisdom of why we came here. In surrender, we find not just peace, but purpose. And in embracing our purpose, we find the courage to stay.
Honor your struggles and pain, and allow yourself to find the lessons that relate to this earthly body.
